Bio
Ferika Clarke was born in Jamaica and came to Canada at a young age. At the age of 13, she realized that fashion was a passion of hers. Ferika lets nothing stand in her way of moving forward. She is determined and very dedicated to her goals. Her fashion career started when she wore her own dress design in 2007 at a Jamaica event that featured her in the local newspaper. She held her first fashion show in 2008. In 2009 Ferika graduated from a “Women Moving Forward Program” and was awarded the “Can’t Hold Her Down” award for ability to rise above everything. In 2010 she was the fashion director/choreographer for “Poetic fashion show”.
Ferika participated in Bodies in Motion hair and fashion show in 2012. She also took part in a fashion and Make-up show in 2012. She graduated in October 2019 from Seneca College Fashion Arts Program. Ferika uses fashion as a tool to further expose young people to their highest potential, and to help them govern their life in politics and religion.
Qualities of prestige, strength and perseverance support this inspiring woman as she maintains her ground in an industry dominated by men. Ferika graduated College and now has her own fashion brand. Her fashion brand is called Classiq Star.
She is now a fashion designer. Ferika design for women, men and children clothing. Her fashion brand is exclusive, futuristic, and luxurious. Be on the lookout for this multi-talented femme fatale on her journey to the top.
